Fu’s Subcutaneous Needling Therapy
Fu’s Subcutaneous Needling(FSN) 浮针 is a newly developed acupuncture therapy by Chinese medical doctor, Dr Zhonghua Fu in 1996. FSN acupuncture uses a modified acupuncture needle to stimulate areas nearby tightened muscles to treat musculoskeletal conditions and other medical conditions.
Normal or traditional acupuncture techniques involve needles insertion into muscular tissues while the FSN needle only has to enter the sub-cutaneous or inner most layer of the skin. Therefore, this technique has little sensation for the patent, yet it can produce an incredible pain relieving effect. For some acute pain conditions, such as muscular and ligaments strains, tennis elbow, or acute back pain, it can have almost instant pain relieving results. Hence it is called FAST response acupuncture!
